So fall is officially here. Thankfully, it’s still been relatively warm and gorgeous out! We’ve been staying busy and have been enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.
Parks and playgrounds are still a GREAT option since it’s been so nice. I try to go at least 2 times a week with the children. I know they love the playgrounds and I like that they can run and be loud without worrying about running into things or scaring the neighbors. 😉
Of course – it’s not fall without cider, donuts and pumpkins! Z is so into pumpkins this year and I’m not sure why? We’ve never really gotten into pumpkin carving yearly…I think we’ve done it maybe 2 times since we’ve been married and both times were LONG before Z was in the picture. But he is loving pumpkins!!
And when you go see pumpkins, you also take a hay ride! Boy did Z love that! He was so excited and talked the entire ride. I love watching him enjoy life!
We also have been able to sneak in some time at my parents new home over a weekend – Z loves to be with his cousins. That they were trying to catch frogs (HUGE ones!) in the small pond right outside the house just added to it.
HOWEVER, my son did end up falling into that pond and daddy had to rescue him. The lining that is in there makes it extremely difficult to get a foothold and my son was no match for it. Thankfully, my husband was nearby and the two cousins started yelling as soon as Z fell in. Whew! Good watching out, children! 🙂
Other than that, it’s just been a very busy season for us so that’s why I haven’t been able to update lately. I am sorry! I love to write and wish I had more time in the day to fit this in. BUT I know that this is only a season and I will make it through! 🙂
